Since Client-Pharma launched in 2013, we’ve been working in the heart of local communities to help improve people’s lives whether it’s through funding, training, sponsorship or fundraising.
As big supporters of rugby, Client-Pharma jumped at the chance to sponsor our local rugby club, Barton under Needwood. Formed in 1990 with just one adult team playing regularly, today the club now has two Senior teams, plus an occasional veterans side and over 150 children in their Mini and Junior section.
The Club has also seen great achievement following the recruitment of a team of qualified RFU coaches last year, with the Sevens team winning Staffordshire’s 7’s County championship in the summer, a great start to this season putting them third in the Midlands Four league.
Retaining such titles, along with prices for league registrations, the rental of training facilities constantly on the rise, and the cost of kit and equipment, it is becoming more and more difficult for amateur sports teams to cover their costs and avoid folding.
Client-Pharma’s sponsorship will allow the Club to buy new kit and equipment for the large squads, that all need to be kitted out in match day and training attire. The money will also assist in financing a number of projects, which will allow the Club to provide playing areas and equipment at all levels, as well as supporting the club’s important community work at grass-roots level.
It’s great to get involved in the local community and give the recognition and support the team needed. Client-Pharma has been part of the Staffordshire community since 2013 and we believe our local residents deserve the best sporting opportunities available.
